Overview
The Multiple Teams functionality allows media agencies and large brands to manage multiple teams under one organisation, control budget allocations, and assign specific user roles and access to campaigns. This system provides a structured way to monitor and manage campaigns and budgets across various teams, ensuring that users can have appropriate access while streamlining workflow.
This article provides an overview of the features and functionalities available when managing multiple teams in Vamp, particularly from the perspective of Organisation Admins, Team Owners, and Team Members.
1. Organisation Admin

-
The first user to sign up and create an organisation will automatically be assigned the role of Organisation Admin.

3. Team Member
Permissions
- Team members' permissions are also unchanged:
- They can view team details but cannot edit them or invite new members.
- Team members cannot see organisation details or edit them.
4. All Users
Login
- For the best Dashboard experience, users should navigate to their organisation’s URL:
http://<organisation_code>.vampcreate.com
. Upon logging in, the Dashboard will automatically redirect users to this URL.
Switch Teams
-
All users now have a new drop-down menu in the top left of the navigation bar that allows them to switch between teams.
-
Users can only select teams they are a member of.
-
When navigating directly to a campaign link (e.g., from an email CTA), the dashboard will automatically switch to the relevant team, even if the user had a different team open.
-
Users can view different teams simultaneously in separate browser tabs.

Wallet Summary
-

- Currently, every team is associated with one organisation (1:1).
- The Organisation Admin is automatically set as the current team owner.
- The Organisation Admin has the ability to create new teams.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
1. Can I move a campaign from one team to another?
No. Invoicing and wallets are issued at the team level, and campaigns are linked to these. Therefore, campaigns cannot be moved between teams.
2. Can I move funds currently in my wallet to a different team within my organisation?
Currently, this is not automated in the platform. If Vamp decides to allow this for key customers, it will need to be coordinated with the Finance team to do manually.
3. What if I don’t know who my organisation owner is or they have left?
If you're unsure who the organisation owner is or if they have left, simply raise a support request. Our team can help with changing the organisation owner.
4. Is this feature available for Talent Managers?
Currently, organisations and multiple teams are disabled for Talent Managers. In the marketplace, creators often work with multiple talent agencies, which may not align with the current team structure. We are considering different solutions for this use case.
5. Will anything change for Creators?
No. The creator experience remains unchanged. Creators do not have visibility into organisations, and their interface stays the same. The only minor change is that their team name will be displayed after their first name in chat.
6. Can a user belong to teams in different organisations?
Yes. A user can belong to teams which are under different organisations.
7. What is the balance at the top of the wallet summary screen?
If no date range is selected, the balance shown is the current balance. If a date range is applied, it will display the balance of money in and out within that time frame.
8. Is there a maximum number of teams you can have under an organisation?
No, there is no limit to the number of teams you can create under a single organisation. Feel free to create as many as you need!
9. What if a user accidentally creates a new organisation?
When a new organisation is created, a team is automatically generated. If this happens by accident, please raise a support request so we can move the team into the correct organisation.
10. Have permissions or access to any existing Dashboard features changed for existing team members and owners?
No. The permissions and access levels for existing team members and team owners remain unchanged. They will continue to have the same level of access they had before the multiple teams functionality was introduced.
