Vamp has introduced a new Instant Wallet Top-up feature designed to enhance customer experience and streamline operational processes. This update allows customers to add funds to their wallets instantly, without requiring manual intervention from the Vamp team, providing quicker and more efficient access to campaign funds.
Key Benefits of the New Feature
1. Instant Wallet Top-ups
- Customers can now add funds to their wallets directly via the platform.
- Invoices are automatically generated and sent to the billing contact upon top-up, making the process quicker and easier.
2. Simplified Self-Service
- The self-service feature allows customers to manage their funds independently, reducing wait times and eliminating the need for manual fund additions by the Vamp team.
3. PAYG & Committed Spend (With Vamp Pro)
- For customers on Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) or Committed Spend plans, the traditional processes remain in place, with the added benefit of automated fund withdrawals after each top-up.
4. Bespoke Billing
- For teams on bespoke billing arrangements, standard procedures apply, but there is additional internal communication with the finance team to ensure smooth processing.
Preparing for the Change
To ensure a seamless transition to the new feature, all teams will need to take the following steps:
1. Updating Billing Details in the Platform
- All teams are required to update their billing information in the platform.
- This can be done by any team member via the Billing Page, or when making a purchase for the first time.
- In the first phase of this feature rollout, emails will be sent to teams reminding them to update their billing details, along with instructions on how to do so.
2. Vamp Updating Billing Details on Behalf of Customers
- For full-service customers who do not log into the portal but have signed and agreed to Vamp’s billing terms, the salesperson will be responsible for updating the billing details on the customer’s behalf.
Verification of Brand New Self-Serve Portals
Any new self-serve portal will need to undergo verification before its first campaign can be moderated. This is a security measure to prevent fraudulent activity on the platform.
- When a new self-serve team sends their first brief, Vamp’s moderation team will not be able to approve the campaign until the team is verified.
- Campaign Moderators are responsible for ensuring that new teams are legitimate businesses before any campaign is moderated.
What Customers Will Receive
-
Invoice on Top-up:
When a customer adds funds via the platform, an email with the invoice will automatically be sent to the billing contact, with the requester CC’d on the communication. -
Fund Addition by Vamp Team Member:
If a Vamp team member adds funds on behalf of a customer, the system will still automatically issue the invoice via email. For teams not on bespoke billing, the invoice will go directly to the billing contact. If a team is on bespoke billing, the invoice will be processed internally by Vamp’s finance team.
Once funds are added to the wallet, they will immediately be available for the customer to spend on their campaigns.
