The brief acts as a creator's contract , so it's crucial to provide key campaign requirements and deliverables upfront, clearly and concisely. Follow this guide to set yourself up for success. Once your brief is live, you won't be able to amend it, so ensure all information is correct.
1. Influencer or Content

Select the Relevant Option:
- If you want creators to post to their feeds, select Influencer.
- If you're engaging creators to create content for brand use only, select Content.
2. Budget & Product

Input Your Budget:
- Enter your budget in the appropriate currency for your campaign.

Product Value:
- Input the product value that each creator will receive (per influencer, not overall).
- If creators need to purchase the product, select from the dropdown menu to enable reimbursement from the budget.
3. Boosting

Enter Brand Handle:
- Provide your brand's handle from which boosting will occur.
4. Creator Demographics

Select Categories:
- Choose the demographics for the creators you'd like to receive briefs from. It’s advisable to set this wider initially, narrowing down during the creator selection stage.
5. Add-ons

Managed Campaigns:
- If your campaign is managed by the Vamp team, select Vamp Pro. If it’s a self-serve campaign, this isn’t necessary.

Event Attendance:
- If creators need to attend an event, select this option for extra compensation.
6. Content Allocation

Content Plan:
- Use this section to view the breakdown of content possible within your budget.
7. Campaign Live Dates

Input Dates:
- Use the calendar tool to set your campaign's start and end dates, ensuring creators know when to submit content. You can amend timelines later if necessary.
8. Brand Information

Fill in Brand Details:
- Provide your brand name and the product/service or promotion the creators will create content for.

Upload Images:
- Use the upload tool for your brand logo and a striking banner image that will be shown to creators when the brief is sent out. Ensure you own the rights to use these images.
9. Overview

Create a Compelling Overview:
- Write 1-2 sentences to introduce the campaign and capture creators’ interest. Include the brand name and product, along with the key theme of the campaign, if relevant.
Examples:
- Showcase Michael Kors' new fragrance, Sexy Ruby.
- Show us your personality & let your style shine in the Boohoo Swim collection, exclusive to Australia!
- Highlight the performance and style of Rebel Sport's new season range!
10. Content Details

Specify Content Requirements:
- Enter details that creators need to complete and any expectations/regulations for the campaign.
Example: Creators need to opt in to create a minimum of 1 x post and 1 x story.
Note: Creators retain the final say on which deliverables to create.
11. Dos & Don'ts

Outline Campaign Rules:
- Clearly state the Dos and Don'ts for the campaign, guiding creators on content expectations. This section forms the basis for content approvals and rejections.
Common Dos / Don'ts to Include:

Logos/Branding:
- Do ensure the product is the hero of the image with all branding & logos in-focus and readable.

Style of Content:
- Do create product shots, Do create lifestyle content, etc.
-
Key Messages:
- Do include at least one product benefit in your caption.
-
Legalities:
- E.g., “Do show seatbelts being worn at all times” for car campaigns.

Competitors:
- Don’t feature, tag, or mention any other brands.
-
Other Restrictions:
- Don’t feature lingerie or nudity.
-
Deliverables:
- Do ensure unique content for each assigned deliverable.
12. Campaign #Tags and @Mentions

Enter Relevant Tags:
- Provide the relevant hashtags and mentions for the platforms you wish to receive content from. Vamp suggests a maximum of 1 x @mention and 2 x #hashtags.
13. Survey the Creators

Gather Additional Info:
- Use survey questions to gather information from creators to help you decide who to work with. You can include free text and multiple choice options.
Examples:

Any product related information: selecting product type by image reference, the size, etc.

If an event: ask the influencer to confirm which event location/time/date they can attend

Content format: What type of content will you create?

Content style: What style of content will you shoot?

Key messages: Which key messages will you represent?
- Trends, content ideas: Which trend would you like to create out of the below?
14. Our Platform Pledge

Accept the Vamp Pledge:
- Once you've accepted the pledge, click Next.
15. MATCH Tool

Select Content and Creator Style:
- Use the MATCH tool to select the style of content and creator that fits your campaign aesthetic. This is just a sample of creators and does not define who will receive the brief.
Once done, click Next, and your brief will be sent to our moderation team for review.
