Partnership Ads (PA) allow brands to enhance their campaigns by running ads directly from a creator's handle. To ensure these ads are successfully set up in a brand’s Facebook Ad Manager, follow the requirements outlined below:
Requirements for Partnership Ads
-
Brand Tagging
- Creators must tag the brand as a paid partner in their content (e.g., Paid Partnership with @examplebrand) to enable the brand to boost the post through Facebook Ad Manager.
-
Music Usage
- If music is included, it must be sourced from Facebook’s royalty-free music library, specifically The Facebook Sound Collection.
- Instagram content can now be boosted with copyrighted music, making it even easier to tap into trending audios and amplify your reach.
-
Content Restrictions
- No Face Effects or Filters: Creators should not add any face effects or filters to their content before or after filming.
- Stories: The carousel format cannot be used for story content.
- Reels: Video length must not exceed 60 seconds.
- Hashtags: Limit captions to a maximum of 30 hashtags.
- Carousel Posts: Carousel posts (collections of images, videos, or mixed media) are not permitted.
-
Interactive Elements
- A maximum of five interactive elements is allowed per piece of content (location sticker, hashtag sticker, tappable text, @mention sticker) or one countdown sticker.
- For ads created without a pre-existing post, only polling stickers and swipe-up CTAs can be used. Existing feed posts cannot be shared as stories with additional elements.
-
Best Practices
- For optimal performance, avoid using emojis, GIFs, music stickers, link stickers, polls, more than one sticker, and other complex creative tools.
