Vamp’s Team Chat feature allows brands and media agencies to communicate directly at a content level within the platform. This reduces reliance on external tools like email for internal discussions and keeps campaign conversations organised.
How Team Chat Works
When viewing a deliverable, you’ll now see two chat tabs:
- Creator Chat – remains unchanged; one chat per creator shared across all deliverables.
- Team Chat – a new chat channel for internal discussions, separate for each deliverable.
Example:
If a creator has two content pieces and one product deliverable, there will be three Team Chats: two for content, one for the product.
Getting Started with Team Chat
1. Open the Relevant Deliverable: Click into the deliverable you want to discuss.
2. Invite Stakeholders: Enter names of your team members and send a custom email invite. This email includes a link to the Team Chat and your message.Note: Stakeholders must already be members of your Vamp team. If they’re not, the Team Owner must add them first.
3. Stay Updated:
- Daily email summary at 9am local time from
noreply@vamp.mefor unread messages.
- Real-time notifications under the bell icon on the top right of the dashboard. Red dots indicate new messages per deliverable.
-
Read Receipts: Hover over ticks to see who has read your messages.
✓ Message sent
✓✓ Read by at least one person
✓✓ Blue: Read by everyone
4. Closing of Team Chat: Team Chat closes when the Creator Chat closes, usually 45 days after content goes live.
Creator & Talent Manager Experience
- No changes for creators or talent managers.
- They cannot access Team Chat and will continue using Creator Chat only.
